First Friday: pottery wheel try session June 6, 2025
Welcome to First Friday: your chance to try the pottery wheel!
This class is held on June 6, 2025 from 6-8pm
On the first Friday of every month, Rock Clay offers 8 participants to come in and try their hand at the pottery wheel.
Bring your partner, your friend(s), your mother, your father, your whole family, or come on your own and try your hand at the pottery wheel.
In this class we will spend two hours learning the basics from wedging the clay, centering on the pottery wheel, and finally: shaping your lump of clay into a small vessel.
What’s Included:
2-hour group class
All materials provided (clay, tools, etc.)
Glazing, trimming, bisque firing & glaze firing (handled by your instructor)
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in ~3 weeks
BYO snacks & drinks (picnic-style—we don’t have a kitchen!)
