Welcome to Rock Clay on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, for a 2-hour hand-building class led by our talented instructor, Lauren Haskell.
In this class you will be making holiday ornaments made from our stoneware clay. This intimate session—limited to 10 participants—is perfect for adults who have always wanted to explore working with clay.
Come alone or with friends. Feel free to bring your favorite beverages (wine, beer, cocktails, soda, or water) and snacks picnic-style. Since we don’t have a refrigerator on-site, a small cooler is recommended for cold drinks.
What to Expect:
Using stoneware clay, Lauren will guide you through the process of:
✔️ Rolling out and cutting out shapes
✔️ Painting and decorating your ornaments with underglazes
✔️ Piercing or attaching a wire hanger to hang the ornaments
Each participant will create up to 6 ornaments to be: bisque-fired, glazed with a transparent finish, and finally glaze-fired.
Clay, paint, and firing costs are included in the class price, and your finished pieces will be ready for pickup within three weeks.
Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in.
