2-Day Immersive Workshop
Join ceramic artist Ben Eberle for a two-day immersive workshop exploring the construction of his beautiful, functional pouring vessels.
Throughout the workshop, Ben will guide participants through the process of creating each component of a pouring vessel, from the initial form to the final assembly. Over the course of two days, you will learn how to throw a large, voluminous form on the wheel, as well as how to make a spout, lid, and handle, and how to thoughtfully assemble these individual parts into a cohesive vessel.
Clay is inclided.
Firing and glazing are not included.
This is not a beginner workshop. Participants should be comfortable centering and throwing approximately 2 lbs of clayon the wheel.

For more than 25 years, Ben Eberle has pursued his passion for vessel-based, functional ceramics from the Hilltowns of western Massachusetts.
Eberle received a BA in Writing from Skidmore College in 2003 and, following graduation, apprenticed with renowned ceramic artist Toshiko Takaezu. After a year working in Boston, he went on to earn his MFA from San José State University in 2008.
Today, Ben lives and works in Conway, Massachusetts, where he hosts group firings in his wood-fired soda kiln, Karma Kiln, teaches workshops, fires kilns, and shares his pots with collectors and ceramic communities throughout the United States.
